You CAN add faster modules to a slower system, but there is no real benefit to doing so. If this is not the case, make sure that you did not accidently bump into and dislodge any cables or power connectors when you were working in the case. This is a further means of eliminating the possibility of errors when reading the data in memory and is used when the data returned from memory is extremely critical, such as in scientific or financial calculations where the integrity of the data is CRITICAL.
